Sintergetica Medicine

Sintergetica is an integral therapeutic approach that fuses medical traditional views with western medicine from a systemic vision, integrating its language and practice in a coherent and unified model.

As an integrative paradigm, it is born of a new conception of the correlations between matter, energy, information and conscience, and uses five basic laws of the paradigm of consciousness that correspond to the five movements of the old Chinese and Hindu traditions.

Its practice has expanded to Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Mexico, Spain and Portugal, where teaching is carried out through graduate degree seminars and clinical practices.

In Chile, in these last three year course, they have developed a teaching favoured and financed by the Chilean Ministry of Health (1) that has ended in the creation of ‘Units of Integrative Medicine’ and the expansion of Sintergetica pattern in some Public Hospitals.

In synthesis Sintergetica is a therapeutic integral proposal that, from a new vision of life, health, illness and the human being, proposes a new clinical pathology reading code, a new doctor patient relationship model and a new non-invasive therapeutic methodology.

Through therapeutic teaching Sintergetica promotes the humanisation of medicine involving the patient in the prevention of illness and the creation of their own health.

Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday we have Sintergetiva Medicine classes.

The lectures that are given by Sintergetica Medicine Therapists accompany the process of the student’s learning, helping to both consolidate the knowledge and integrate in a very practical way all the concepts seen in each module.

Jorge Carvajal: Authenticity Makes Us Happy Beings

Jorge Carvajal: Surgeon of souls, spiritual healer, authentic doctor who listens to his patients with his heart. He cures not only the body but the whole person. Jorge Carvajal has 20 years of medical research behind him which he complements with the depth of his life philosophy to help us regain our true identity and recover our health and the health of humankind.

What is disease?

Disease is a teacher. It is also an opportunity to organize and harmonize our own lives at a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.

Which gets sick first: the body or the soul?

The soul cannot get sick. The soul only evolves and learns. Disease is the opposite of evolving and learning. Resistance of the emotional and mental bodies towards the soul is what accounts for a large number of all diseases. We get sick when our personality resists the plans of the soul.

Are any emotions harmful to our health? Which emotions are the most damaging?

70% of all human diseases come from emotions. Very often, disease can come from repressed (unprocessed and unexpressed) emotions. Fear, for example, which is the absence of love, is an important cause of and the common denominator for a large number of diseases we currently experience. When fear stays inside us, it affects the kidneys, adrenal glands, bones. Fear affects our life-force and can manifest itself as panic.

Can pretending to be strong affect our health?

Cemeteries are full of heroes. We need to look after ourselves. Let’s not overstep our limits. Not recognizing our limits will harm and possibly destroy our bodies.

How does anger affect us?

Anger is holy and sacred. It’s a positive emotion as it leads to self-respect, to defining our boundaries, to fairness. However, when anger becomes irritability, aggression, resentment and hatred, it turns against us by affecting the liver, digestion, the immune system…

Can happiness help us in staying healthy?

Happiness is the most healing emotion we possess. It is the emotion of our inner child and comes straight from the heart. It is open to all other emotions. For example, mix happiness with a little bit of sadness and you get beautifully written poems, happiness with fear can allow  fear to be put into perspective and not be overvalued.

Does happiness ease our moods?

Yes, happiness eases all our other emotions. Happiness allows us to process other emotions from the child within us, from our heart, and allows them to transcend. It channels them so that they reach the world of the mind.

What about sadness?

Sadness, when not expressed, can lead to depression. It can also be a tool to help us gain personal insight and restore inner control.

All negative emotions have positive aspects to them however we keep them negative when we repress them.

Is it better to accept these emotions we consider negative as part of ourselves?

As part of ourselves to transform, yes. When we accept them, they flow, they are not stuck anymore. This way they can be transmuted. We have to channel them so that they move from the heart to the head.

That’s difficult!

Yes, it is very difficult. The basic human emotions are love and fear (fear being the absence of love). Therefore, all that exists is love, both in excess or lack thereof, constructive or destructive. There is also clinging love, overprotective love, toxic love, destructive love.

How can we prevent disease?

We are all creators. So I think the best way to prevent disease is by creating health. If we create health we won’t have to prevent or attack disease, because we are being health itself.

What if disease appears?

Then we have to accept it because we are human. Krishnamurti developed pancreatic cancer and he was not someone who would have had an unbalanced life. Many spiritually rich people have become sick.

We need to explain this for those who believe that to become sick is to fail. Failure and success are teachers, that’s all. And when we are the students, we must accept and incorporate the lesson of disease into our lives.

(Jiddu Krishnamurti (1895-1986) was an Indian mystic and philosopher whose teaching stresses universal religious values, personal insight, and autonomous self-discipline, synthesizing both Indian and Western philosophical and psychological principles.)

Each day more people suffer from anxiety…

Anxiety is a sense of emptiness which sometimes feels like a hole in the stomach, a sensation that there is not enough air to breathe…It is an existential emptiness which develops when we look outside instead of inside ourselves. It arises when we don’t have the courage to look inside and instead search for crutches, for external support. If we don’t accept solitude and we don’t accept our own company, we will keep experiencing that same emptiness. We will try to fill that emptiness with material things and possessions. Material things cannot fill it so the emptiness keeps growing.

What can we do to rid ourselves of this anguish?

This anguish won’t disappear by eating chocolate, by ingesting more calories, or by looking for a knight in shining armor. This anguish is overcome by going inside ourselves, by accepting ourselves, by reconciling with ourselves. This anguish comes about because we are not being who we really want to be, we are also not being who we really are. We are stuck in the ‘I should be’. We are therefore not one or the other.

Stress is another illness of our times…

Stress comes from competitiveness, from ‘I want to be perfect’, ‘I want to be better’, ‘I want to claim the score that is not mine’, ‘I want to imitate’. We can only really compete when we decide to compete with ourselves, when we want to be unique, original, authentic, not a carbon copy of somebody else’s image. Stress is destructive and detrimental to the immune system. Good stress is wonderful because it allows us to be awake and alert in times of crisis. It is an opportunity to emerge to a new level of consciousness.

What would you recommend so that we feel better with ourselves?

Solitude. Being with ourselves everyday is wonderful. Twenty minutes with ourselves is the beginning of meditation; it is building a bridge towards real health; it is the path to our inner being. My recommendation is to set your alarm 20 minutes early prior to the start of your work day every morning. If you put aside the first moments of the morning to meditate, when you are rested, rather than your spare time during the day, you will be recharged. The potential of the soul belongs to this time of the morning.

What is happiness for you?

It is the essence of life. It is the very meaning of life. We are born to be happy. However happiness is not pleasure, it’s integrity. When all the senses are integrated into our whole being, then we can be happy. We are happy when we believe in and trust ourselves, when we commit ourselves to a level which goes beyond our ego. We are happy when we feel a sense that goes beyond our daily lives, when we don’t put our lives on hold, when we don’t disconnect from ourselves, when we are at peace with life and with our conscience.

Is it important to live in the present? How can we achieve that?

By letting go of the past and not investing ourselves in future expectations is when we devote ourselves to being rather than having. I tell myself that happiness is about fulfillment and fulfillment is about our capacity to live in the present. And to live in the present is to let go of the world of confusion.

Do you think we are confused?

There are three major illusions we get confused about. Firstly, we think that we are a body, when we are a soul. The body is a living tool and ends with death. Secondly, we believe that the meaning of life is pleasure; but more pleasure does not bring more happiness; it only brings more dependency. Pleasure and happiness are not the same thing. We have to put pleasure into our lives and not devote our lives to pleasure. The third illusion is about power; we think we have infinite power over our lives.

What do we really need to live? Is it love perhaps?

Love, so used and abused, is a renewable energy.

Love is magnificent because it creates cohesion. In love everything is alive, like a river which renews itself. In love we can always renew ourselves because it allows us to harmonize our lives. In love there is no misappropriation, no separation, no fear, no resentment. When we live with love, harmony rules our lives. Humans compare love to weakness, but love is not weak.

We suffer when we find out that someone doesn’t love us…

There is great confusion in our culture. We believe that we suffer because of love and that our catastrophes are a result of love…but that is not love, it’s infatuation, which is a type of attachment. What we usually call love is in fact a drug. Just as we can become dependant on cocaine, marihuana or morphine, one can also become dependant on infatuation. Infatuation is a crutch to lean on. Carrying someone in our hearts sets him/her free and we also set ourselves free. True love has a fundamental essence which is freedom and it’s always conducive to freedom.

But we always feel attached to someone we love…

If loves leads to dependence it is then Eros. Eros is a match. When you light a match it burns very quickly reaching and hurting your fingers. Many love stories are like that: all spark. A spark can be useful in that it can light a log fire in real love. When the log takes the spark it can keep the fire burning. That is called impersonal love, which produces warmth and light.

Could you give us some advice so that we can experience real love?

Just trust in the truth. You don’t have to be a prince or princess for someone else’s dreams. Just be yourself, no more, no less. You have the sacred right to make mistakes. You also have the right to forgive, for mistakes are our teacher. Love yourself. If you don’t love yourself you will never find anybody capable of loving you. Love begets love. If you love yourself you will find love. If you don’t, you will find emptiness. But don’t settle for second-best…you are worth a lot more than that.

The key then is to love yourself…

And thy neighbour as much as you love yourself. If you don’t love yourself, you don’t love God or your child, and you are then just attaching and therefore conditioning the other person. Accept yourself as you are. What we don’t accept we cannot change. Life is a flow of constant change.

Introduction to Sintergetica

SINTERGETICA

Medicine of synthesis/ that synthesizes

1. It doesn’t fight disease, it creates health.
2. It changes the way we see things.
3. It is medicine with soul.
4. It goes beyond matter and the objective world.
5. It embraces the subjective world.
6. It reveals what it means to be human.
7. It goes beyond matter, energy, information and consciousness.
8. It embraces the human being as something indivisible, synchronic, and unique.

The important thing in life is quality not quantity. Sintergetica is the art of reuniting all. The brain is a tool for inventing, for creating life. Disease is a learning strategy of our conscience. It is possible for the energy of the soul to be reached for healing. To the light of the soul, everything is possible. In order to save the body, we have to save the soul. Health is an organized and ordered plan of inner harmony, the complement of opposite energies (masculine and feminine). We need reason with feeling. The universe is rational. More material density, less informational density and vice versa. Everything that exists is a ‘everything- part of’, (it’s part of something else), a context, a Holon (a Holon is a subatomic basic unit measurement of the conscience). What matters the most is the context, the meaning.

The holons have the property of the consciousness:

a. Self-identity.
b. Self adaptation.
c. Transmutation.
d. Emergence.
e. Synthesis.

a. Self-identity

- Know yourself
- We are original and unique. We must not be what we aren’t meant to be.
- The earth is our point of arrival and departure.
- What we are not must die (the part of us that is not us has to die).
- To ground ourselves is the most important thing.
- Without a starting point there’s no arrival (finishing) point.
- The most important thing is the first step, because you choose the direction.
- The earth is responsibility.
- We must recognize (acknowledge) the essential and distinguish it from the superfluous (unnecessary).
- Love with responsibility = sensitivity (awareness) to our needs.
- We don’t have to be perfect or better. We don’t have to compete. We are our own competition.
- Our external senses take us to our inner sense.
- To serve (to be at service) doesn’t mean to give things, but to give of yourself, to devote yourself.
Let’s give in to life, let’s surrender to life.

b. Self adaptation

- The holons adapt to each other because they relate to each other, they ‘flow’ together.
- Adaptation (adaptability) means fluidity, flexibility.
- The hardness of the earth + flexibility of the water = adaptable elasticity or resilience.
- Resilience is flexible and adaptable resistance. It’s our strength.
- Being humble is essential to achieve wholeness.
- Put your heart into everything you do and into everything you think.
- Be firm (solid, stable) clear and precise but with love.
- If truth doesn’t make you whole, then it’s a lie.
- Real intelligence is active intelligence, in motion, adaptable.
- Adaptability has 3 moments:

1) choose, decide, practice (use) your freedom (to be free). Explain yourself.
2) Adopt yourself. Involve yourself
3) Adapt yourself. Apply yourself

- Usually we don’t incarnate (to become flesh incorporate, unite, to embody) knowledge, we don’t involve ourselves.
- When we incarnate knowledge, we can be transformed by it. We have to incarnate knowledge to be transformed by it.

c. Transmutation (dissolution, dissolving)

- Fire is transmutation.
- Life burns down the inessential to reveal the essential in life.
- Fire gives you a feeling of lightness, evaporating attachments and aversions (fear, apprehensions).
- Fire elevates desires to the passionate, active aspiration, the ideal.
- Gratitude is a felling that allows us to ascend and enjoy life, without resistance or fear.

d. Emergence

- We conquer the world of the superior mind and we realize that we are not what we thought we were.

e. Synthesis

- In synthesis (of everything) we discover our inner healer.

Los 12 Portales del Alma

Responsabilidad
